Lead Barber & Owner Christopher Lombardo began cutting hair 16 years ago. Attending Connecticut Institute of Hair Design, Inc. two weeks after graduating from High School, Chris started barbering for family & friends out of his father’s garage. He quickly found his love and passion for the craft, and the abilities it gives him to assist others in feeling confident after sitting at his chair. Barbering has never been work to Chris, but more so a passion, and therapeutic experience for himself and his clients. He prides himself on building a friendship with each customer, so you are able to truly unwind and relax when you sit down for a haircut or shave. Through the strong sense of community and exceptional work that comes from Lombardo’s, Chris and his team have been awarded Southington’s Best-Of Award for the past 4 years.

It's very difficult to find a good barbershop. I tried going to a bunch of them in the area, and for the longest time I couldn't find a place I would want to go back to. There's a reason I stopped going to any others after finding Lombardo's Barber Shop. Chris and the rest of the staff are great. They are everything a barbershop should be. Chris usually cuts my hair, and he's always quick, efficient, and gives me a quality cut. I can't ask for more.

Got a cut at Lombardo’s Barber Shop and had a great experience. The shop has a classic barbershop feel, super clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. My barber took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered a clean, sharp cut with attention to detail.The beard trim was on point too—everything lined up perfectly. You can tell they take pride in their work. Prices are fair for the quality you get, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a reliable spot with solid cuts and a good vibe. This is the ONLY place I will bring my kids to get a haircut. Not only are Chris and his staff professional and on top of their game, they really listen to your input and guide you to the best decision based on a variety of factors such as: hair type, child tolerance, etc. 10/10 Lombardo’s is the best barbershop in CT, hands down! "Extremely disappointed with my experience today. Matheau double-booked my 9am appointment, left me waiting 30 minutes without an apology, and then refused to cut my hair when I asked about it. Manager Chris was rude and unprofessional in backing him up. I walked out and went to The Fade District instead, where they actually value their clients."

I'm so glad I found Lombardo's! I had the same guy cutting my hair for 13 years! When I left his area I tried going back just for hair cuts but that became way too difficult. Finding a new barber shop is so stressful. Lombardo's was great. Super vibe, antique barber chairs, and fair prices. I will definitely be back!

Terrible service for curly hair. The stylist didn’t know what they were doing, rushed through the haircut in under 5 minutes, and didn’t use water at all. I do not recommend this place.

Chris and crew are AWESOME! They are efficient, friendly, accommodating and always ready to help. I would go nowhere else for me or my 2 boys. Phenomenal!!Update: I don't think I have ever been to any business that has had such consistent excellent customer service. Chris is not only a fantastic barber, but his kindness and genuine caring has surpassed any expectations. He is responsive, accommodating, and simply awesome. Chris showed up 20 minutes late with no apology. When I pointed out what time the appointment was for, he was rude and said he had to take his son to school. I said that he shouldn't make appointments at that time then. Still no apology. He told me there was another barber there to help me. That barber was cutting someone else's hair, because he showed up on time for his appointment. Do yourself a favor - spend your money elsewhere, at a business that shows their customers common courtesy. I've seen similar experiences posted, and I've seen some unprofessional responses that only emphasize the point.

Went to Lombardo’s for the first time through a recommendation from a friend. Had a haircut with Enzo and man was that rough. The haircut can’t be too complicated because i’ve gotten the same one from 4-5 barbers over the last few years and it’s came out the exact same way. I specifically asked after explaining to him “if that made sense” and he said “yeah i got you”. My hairline is now back half an inch from when i woke up. I get we have our bad days but i’m going to have a bad month or two.

I got a walk-in haircut last Wednesday, 9/11/24. I have no issues with my hair, but my neck is another matter. The attached photo was taken three days later. Since I am not going to say anything vulgar I will have to let the picture speak for me.

My husband Nick has been going to Lombardo’s Barber Shop for almost two years now. Chris the owner is amazing, over the top professionalism, and really outdoes himself for group events. A week before our wedding Chris closed his shop for a guys night at the barber shop for Nick, his groomsmen, and our dads. They were able to bring food and drinks while having the place to themselves for a couple of hours for all the guys who chose to get their hair cut! Nick and all the guys had an awesome time. Chris gave Nick a Lombardo’s shirt and a really nice whiskey set. Overall great experience and Nick will continue to support Lombardo’s!! Shout out to Chris, Aaron, & Enzo!! Thanks guys!!

I made an appointment with Chris. After waiting 30 minutes I started to leave and he was walking in. When I said I waited 30 minutes he didn't apologize but said "I've got 9 other guys here". I was in shock that the owner would speak to a customer like that! Then he said something about getting a sandwich and then "you wanna leave.... yeah, go ahead". So I did and I won't be back. This would have been my 3rd time. I always tipped more than 20%. I guess they have too many customers now.
